SCANVAC confers 2023 Pekka Metsi SCANVAC Award
The SCANVAC Award is granted every second year to private individuals, companies or organizations in the Nordic countries that have made outstanding contributions in the area of HVAC technologies. This year SCANVAC board confers the SCANVAC Award to Pekka Metsi.
Over the years, Pekka Metsi has made an outstanding contribution to Finnish society by supporting the development and research of the HVAC sector. He has also strongly supported cooperation between companies and universities and has had a great influence on the whole society. Pekka Metsi´s role has also been significant in the introduction of new services, processes and design tools in the building and real estate sector.
“Pekka Metsi has shown by his example that often traditional operating models in the construction and real estate sector can be changed and developed by adopting research-based solutions. The industry needs pioneers, and Pekka Metsi is definitely one of them”, says Risto Kosonen, President of SCANVAC.
